A New Year is always an opportunity for a fresh start. Of course, we can make a fresh start any time of the year, but there's something about the calendar ticking over to 01/01 that makes it that much easier and somehow more significant in feeling.
For me, the New Year involves a new move. I loved my time in Melbourne and am so glad that I made the move, but I just never felt that it was home. It turns out that I am not the 'big city' person I thought I was. For those of you living in smaller cities or larger towns and loving it, I get you!
Over the next few weeks I will be moving to the beautiful Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid-North Coast. This is where my Dad's side of the family came from - and where my parents have chosen to retire. Every time I visit there I fall in love with the place... I can't wait to become a resident!
For Indikat Designs, the New Year will see some fantastic new designs and some lovely new stationery items. I have had so many ideas swimming around my head.
A new sheet of timber jewellery designs has been sent off to be etched and should be arriving this week. I have more designs that I want to make than I had room for in the sheet!
And I have been busy sourcing and ordering some lovely new stationery items. My first order of cute memo notes arrived yesterday and are now almost all sold out! So I am so glad to know that I am in good company with fellow stationery lovers and Indikat fans.
I am also in love with these new little PU Leather Notebooks. The pages are kept in place with a little metal binder - which means you can refill them as you need. I have added some cute Indikat Designs dividers to them, and I am also offering watercolour paper refills for those wishing to use theirs as a little handbag sketchbook.
